"I apologize," you say as you walk towards the creature. "I did not realize you were so beautiful. What is a creature of light doing in this foul place?"
The creature continues to smile as you approach. "I am Katherina," she says.
"Victoria," you reply. You pull a vial of Water of Life from your pocket. "Let us drink together to celebrate this happy occurrence."
You swig down half of it, and hand the vial to Katherina. Without thinking, she drinks the other half.
Your ploy worked perfectly. Katherina drops to the ground, dead.
You pass into the next room. A snakelike creature lies curled up at the other end of it.
