Cassie resolutely headed for her first class, doing her best to ignore the catcalls and whistles. Several more boys and one girl groped her as she walked down the hall to the door.
She settled into a seat in the back of the room, hoping to stay tucked away and inconspicuous. But it was not to be. 10 minutes into the class, her teacher, Ms. Foster, noticed her attire (or lack of it.)
Coming straight over to Cassie, she said softly, "Why are you so... underdressed today?"
"I had a very bad reaction to my skirt and blouse," Cassie murmured. "They made my skin red and unbearably itchy, so I had to take them off."
"I will escort you to the school nurse at once," Ms. Foster replied. "She will check you to see what could have caused this, and find something for you to wear that will not cause such a violent reaction. You may return to class once you are properly dressed."
Within a few moments, Cassie found herself in the nurse's office. Ms. Gray, a tall, busty, muscular woman with thick, long legs, gave her a sympathetic smile. Cassie liked Ms. Gray. She was always very nice and really knew her stuff.. She sent her aide to fetch Cassie's clothes from her gym locker, so she could observe the symptoms.
Sure enough, within moments of Cassie putting them on, the covered skin was red, itchy and inflamed. Cassie removed the clothes, and Ms. Gray frowned. "I've never seen such a fast allergic reaction, except with stings and bites, before," she said. "You most certainly can't wear these. When did you develop this allergy?"
