After that little show, you decide you need a good soft drink.
“I’ll take that drink,” you say, then you turn to the bartender. “Large Pepsi Max with extra ice, please.”
“You got it,” the bartender says. He takes a pint glass from behind the bar, loads it with ice, and fills it from the soda tap. He then places it in front of you.
“Thanks,” you say, before knocking a big swig back. You put the glass back down and exhale deeply. The bartender goes to serve another customer.
After getting your breath back, you decide to strike up a conversation with the two girls. The blonde is Jane; the brunette is Alexis, but everyone calls her Lex.
