“Guys, she doesn’t want to. Let’s not force her,” you say in Emily’s defense.

“Oh fine,” Misha sighs. “But you know where to meet us if you change your mind.”

You leave the bathroom with Emily.

“They’re nice, aren’t they?” you ask her.

“I guess,” she murmurs. “Um, I have class soon. I have to go or I might be late.”

“Sure, no problem,” you say. With that, she leaves, waving. You wave back. “See you later.”

Or not. You messed up your chances there, no doubt. Oh well. Time for you to get to class.
