From Create Your Own Story

You enter the kitchen and see the bully talking to your mom.
You take a seat.

“Hello dear,” she says. “Carl has just been talking to me about
what happened at school. He’s here to apologize to you.” She pauses
for a moment and continues, “Oh, do you need a band-aid?”

“I’m fine, Mom,” you say, and then turn to look at the bully.

“Listen, kid,” he says, one hand scratching the back of his head.
“I’m really sorry about that. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”

You don’t reply at first, but he gives you a cold stare after a while of silence.

“I’m sorry, too,” you say. “I probably shouldn’t have acted the way I did.”

“Friends, then?” Carl’s face changes again to a more sympathetic look.

You reach out your hand to shake his and answer back:
