From Create Your Own Story

April 30, 2011

There's still no news on the missing bus. In fact, the local news hasn't even MENTIONED it today, which is odd... You would think that something like this would be the top story. There's nothing about these clouds, either. The whole weather portion of the morning news was cut out today, and I know for a fact that there wasn't a forecast for rain or anything like this in the past week. I think I'll see if Jace knows anything...

Uh, okay, fucking scratch THAT off of the list of good ideas. Jace has made moves on me before, but... he's never gotten forceful like he did today. He pinned me to the wall and tried to undo my belt. Luckily, he hadn't expected a good, solid knee to the balls. If he had, I don't know what might have happened to me. I've never ran as fast as I have then.

It started raining as I ran back home, too. Just a light drizzle, but it rained.

...I haven't written about my dreams for a bit because I haven't had any. The two nightmares earlier were scary, but the lack of them seemed worse, somehow. But I feel like I have to write about this one. I had another dream last night.

It was really short, but I was outside with the girl who lives down the street from me. Sarah Fletcher. She's a high-schooler, and I'm willing to bet that she's in the caves right now. But I was with her and some other guy I don't know. He was about her age, though. Taller. Anyways, we were outside and it was pouring rain. I mean absolutely pouring. There was a storm, too. The thunder sounded vicious, almost. The lightning seemed to flash brighter than I had ever seen it flash before. It kept illuminating the neighborhood as we were going up the road towards the neighborhood entrance. Sarah had a rifle, and I had a flashlight. The guy had something with him, but I never got a good look at him or what he had. Besides the rain and thunder, it was silent. Sarah's mouth moved, but I couldn't hear anything coming out.

Sadly, that was it. I guess I should be happy that it wasn't a nightmare, but the vagueness of it disappoints me, to be honest.

Oh, and the rain is coming down a little more now. Looks like an indoor Saturday for me...
