From Club Penguin

To help penguins look different and customize themselves in the Club Penguin world, clothing is available. The clothing that penguins can be seen when walking around Club Penguin or if you click on someone to view their player card.

Clothing can be bought at the Gift Shop and the Sport Shop. Both stores, for right now at least, have the same clothing catalog, called Penguin Style. You must be a paying member to buy clothing in these places.

Clothing can also be received at parties. This clothing is available for all players of Club Penguin.

[edit] Types of clothes

There are six different types of clothing; head, face, neck, body, hand, and foot. Every piece of clothing goes on one of these layers. If you are already wearing a clothing item, like the sombrero, and you try to wear another item that would go on the same layer, like the Viking helmet, the first item will disappear into the inventory on your player card.
