General info

Special features: High physical strength but often lack intelligence.
Appearance
Typical height: 7-9 feet
Typical weight: 300-500lbs (I think that's about right. I'm aiming for them to be a bit heavier than a human with similar size and build would be. I pretty much never work in lbs (or weights in general), so it's a bit difficult for me to get things right with it.)
Physical description: A typical Kurtung is heavily muscled, with large-boned facial structure (Cheekbones, jaws ETC), flattish noses and large teeth. Longer than average arms and better than average night vision are common, due to selective breeding and occasional genetic alteration. Kurtung are always bald.
Typical skin hue: Skin colours are dark, usually greens or browns. The most common colour is a dark rusty brown. No fur or hair.
Reputation
Kurtung are often considered to be simple, violent brutes. Also, they have massive alcohol tolerance- the phrase 'Never try to outdrink a Kurtung' is very wise. They are also immune or resistant to many types of poison. The Kurtung greatly value honour and are considered to be very dependable.
Background/info
The Kurtung originate from the planet Bunduk, but are found on many other worlds too- they were enslaved by the Xl'ykkn several hundred years back and used as labourers and soldiers. Although the Kurtung were 'primitive' at the time of the Xl'ykkn invasion (Roughly 1800s Earth tech), they adapted well to using more modern technology. The Xl'ykkn were defeated by another race a few decades ago, and were forced to acknowledge the freedom of the Kurtung. Many Kurtung still work for the Xl'ykkn, although they now earn a small wage. Bunduk is now a very poor planet despite its abundant resources, and is one of the 'third world' planets. Kurtung often have only a forename. This is rarely longer than three syllables. Name length usually correlates to the owner's status- most Kurtung have single syllable names, middle-ranking ones usually have two, and leaders normally have three.
