The Foundation

From Carthian Movement

The Foundation is a convention of like minded Carthians who hope to provide support and stability to the Carthian Movement. Fundamentally based on the social change model, the Foundation recognizes individuals, groups, and communities as three separate yet equally important levels of leadership. To that extent the Foundation firmly believes that power to the people cannot occur unless all three levels of leadership are present in the Carthian Movement.

The Foundation acknowledges that Carthians will choose structure, government, and faith for themselves. They do not seek to empower, instead they look to support. This Carthian Movement is the collective representation of many individual experiments, and the Foundation believes firmly that the success of the Carthian Movement lies with its people and their ability to choose. The Foundation makes no claim, and will support no effort, to create global government or enforced structure. Through social change, they believe, Individuals, Groups, and Communities will find representation amongst the Covenant as a whole.

The Foundation encourages all Carthians to come together in groups of concentrated interests. Furthermore, they firmly believe that said groups have the right to organize themselves, yet no group should organize solely for purpose of terror and violence. The Masquerade protects us all, and those groups who would use terror as weapons risk destroying the Masquerade.
