Yorick Brown (born sometime as a Gemini!) is a character from Y: The Last Man. He was the last man on earth. Now he's not. He has a pet monkey named Ampersand.

Information
Background
Born to a very normal family in Ohio, Yorick Brown is the younger brother of Hero Brown. His mother became a Senator and his father was a college professor. Because of his father's professorship, both the kids were named after Shakespeare characters.
Yorick grew up to be the shining example of the family. He was the one who became something. He didn't bounce from girl to girl. He didn't do a lot of things wrong. Part of this had to do with being sexually assaulted as a child. The other part of this had to do with him just wanting to be the smartest one. He became very good at memorizing facts and impressing his parents, but most of the time, he didn't know what he was talking about.
Along with this, Yorick became a bit of a magician—or escape artist, which he preferred to be called. He acquired a monkey, a girlfriend, and lived in New York. All of this seemed rather boring.
Until he realized that every man on earth died but him one day.
It was that day that changed his life. After six long and difficult months, he showed up in DC, traveled to Boston, and eventually hooked up with a geneticist that could save humanity if she figured out how to have him reproduce in mass amounts. With this geneticist, whose name was Allison Mann, and 354, he traveled across America, went through a number of adventures, and somehow landed in Japan and then China.
It was from there that he arrived in a world where a plague didn't kill all masculine forms of humanity.
In Purgatory
Yorick has arrived in Purgatory and acquired a mass amount of friends. Rose, Zhen, Gaara, Naruto, and Chase (called Cahse by him) are all his friends. He has a job copy editing for a newspaper. He tried to get a job working with Aziraphale, but after Aziraphale hit on him (and brought out one of his more uncomfortable sides), he decided to give that up. He's also got a lot of people calling pop or soda "Bob."
