Purgatory

Nori in Purgatory. After a tragic discontinuation of her haircolor, Noriko has gone back to her natural color. PB'd by Anna Tsuchiya.

Nori hit Purgatory directly after the events of issue number 29 of the New X-Men, along with several of her teammates. She was quick to touch base with everyone who had been previously dead or catatonic, and had ended up going to the Institute and hanging out there for a bit while her peers caused trouble for Emma Frost. Since she's never really liked Emma all that much her involvement in that was limited.

After doing the boring pace of classes and pretending like everything was all cool and awesome, as well as the occasional snark session with Julian (and trying to not let the lack of David get to her) her bedroom was destroyed when Dizzy ran rampant through the school trying to get away. This resulted in Nori and Josh Foley packing up and moving into Rachel Grey and Kitty Pryde's apartment for about a week and a half. In that time, Josh attempted to kiss her, which was weird, and she started to strike up a fondness for Miss. Grey and Miss. Pryde which she didn't previously have. She was also the one who ended up giving Bobby Drake his crap back when he broke up with Rachel. Not that she knew wtf was going on but she had her suspicions.

Since that she's been fairly anti-social, per her usual self, although she doesn't much like the island. Aya Natsume has been putting in a great deal of effort to win Nori over, and it's actually starting to have an effect. She's even joined the Juuken Bu.
