Axel

Axel comes from the video games Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. He spends most of these games disrupting the plans of his own Organization, or attempting to extract Roxas from Sora. He is eventually reigned into the good side but dies shortly after helping Sora fight the powers of darkness with a kamikaze attack.
On Purgatory, Axel lives with Roxas in an apartment on the same floor as Sora, Riku and Kairi. He spends most of his time drinking, leeching off of Roxas's paycheck and apparently 'bring his girlfriends to Roxas's bed", though this last part is still unfounded. He has been in contact with members of the Organization, but as of yet does not intend to reunite with the group. Because Axel is a Nobody, he does not consider himself a member of Sora's group either, regardless of how many times he babysits the trio's puppy.

Background
In Purgatory
Axel basically manipulates living in close proximity with the rest of the KH good guys for the free food. While he genuinely likes Sora and Kairi, he's got a problem with Riku- but won't be so outward about it as Roxas is. Roxas is the most important person to him, and having lost him once Axel won't do it again. He's talked about getting a job, but unless someplace needs a furnace he probably won't find something by sitting on his ass drinking booze and playing with the pet puppy. PS; He's not having sex with Roxas!!!
