History (series)

Aphrodite is the daughter of Zeus and Dione. She's been around a long time, and she's in charge of all that lovey-dovey stuff. She generally made a habit of getting her giggles hooking up random mortals. She's married to Hephaestus, and has a somewhat disobedient son Cupid. She's also one of the few gods who managed to survive all the shit that happened in Xena.

In Purgatory

Upon arriving in Purgatory, Aphrodite proved herself to essentially be the ultimate fangirl. She's taken to the whole 'modern life' very well, and claims that all the online dating services make her job a lot easier. She also tends to jump into any conversation with even the slightest bit of sexual tension, and it isn't uncommon for her to ask random strangers about their love lives. She's become very active on e-bay and owns Purgatory's 24-hour cable porn station.
