L. Ray Smith's Misconception of the Scriptures and Usage of Corrupted Bibles

In my last article, I exposed L. Ray Smith's false teachings, the denial of Baptism, Communion, God, Hell, The Beast and the Man of Sin, and the soul. He falsely refuted the translations of the Hebrew and Greek bible, ignoring the use of Strong's concordance saying it's a mistranslation of the bible, and instead uses corrupted versions of the authorized King James such as the New International Version as a substitute. This guy is a false prophet we need to avoid.

God is not "on the hook." He doesn't need your help, my help, a missionary's help, or anybody else's help to save His children.
Now, why would God want to do that for? If God doesn't need our help to reach the lost, then the death of Jesus on The Cross would be meaningless. The Teachings of the Apostles would be meaningless. The Hebrew Gentiles would be dead if God didn't ask Moses for his help to lead them out of Egypt. God's commandments is like His call for our help. If God didn't asked Noah to build and get the animals and his family on the Ark, they would be wiped out with the wicked. If L. Ray said that Jesus didn't need our help to reach the lost and baptize them this would be self-righteousness and condemnation. L. Ray is making God look like He hates mankind. L. Ray Smith is not God. His commandments are of men, not of God.
God treated Adam and Eve in the same way that the Law of Moses treated Israel. There were numerous laws given to Israel, and the breaking of some of them involved the penalty of death. Now as long as no one actually committed the act that was illegal, no penalty was enacted. One could look at another man's pretty wife, just as long as he didn't touch her or commit physical adultery with her.
Where in the world did L. Ray get that from? Where's Satan in the picture? Satan tempted Eve to eat the from the tree, not God. Nowhere does it say in Chapter 3 of Genesis were Eve seduced Adam to commit fornification with her. L. Ray is doing the work of Satan, not of God. Not only he thinks God is evil, but by taking Satan out of the picture, he thinks that women are evil as well.
God the Father sent [commissioned] Jesus Christ to be the SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD. I believe that Scripture totally. In order to be the "SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD" one must "SAVE THE WORLD." Jesus Christ WILL SAVE THE WORLD. How much of the world? The "WHOLE" world: "And He IS the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only, but also for the SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD" (KING JAMES BIBLES: I John 2:2).
Now why would L. Ray think that Jesus would come to save sinners if they don't turn away from their sins and be baptized? Jesus will not save the whole world but a few that only believe in Him and obey His Commandments. (Matthew 7:14) Faith without doing the Works of the Lord is dead. (James 2:17, 20 and 26)
Believers and non-believers covers EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHOM HAS EVER LIVED OR WILL LIVE. And this verse says that they will ALL be saved, because God is going to make "believers" out of all "non-believers." In God's gracious judgments, all men will repent and learn to live RIGHTEOUSLY:
Why would God want to do that without the need of the Apostles? Without the Apostles, His Word can't be reached to the Lost Sheep and again His death the Cross would be meaningless. Even with God's Judgments, everyone will still curse God and refuse to turn away their sins (Revelation 16:9).

L. Ray thinks that Hell is a myth and thinks that souls will be destroyed by His spiritual fire because God is a consuming fire. Non-denominationalists including me, do teach about eternal Hell, except it is unseen and spiritual, it is the same as The Lake of Fire, where the fire is never quenched and the worm never dies. Sheol is a pagan Jewish doctrine, that is taught by Judaizers, denominational churches, and some non-denominational churches, about a temporal place that doesn't place. There is no temporal place for the soul await for judgment. The soul goes immediately to Judgment. Abraham's bosom is not Sheol, it's a metaphor used in the Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man foretelling a future symbolic tense where the soul/human spirit goes after the flesh dies.
There is no teaching in the entirety of the universe that "undermines God's words" more than the unscriptural and damnable heresy of a never-ending hell-hole of inhumane torture in fire!!!
There is nothing unscriptural and damnable heresy about eternal Hell. L. Ray has been teaching the damnable doctrine of OSAS (Once Saved, Always Saved). He's a universalist and a Armstrongist even he denies of being either the two.

One of the ridiculous, self-righteous, hatred, depressing doctrines and most teachings of condemnation instead of spreading The Good News is that He takes Revelation 13:15-18 and targets everyone saying we are "The Beast", the "Man of Sin", and the "Sons of Perdition". Blasphemy. There's only one singular noun in the bible, and that's the word "son".
So who's the "The Beast/Man of Sin/Son of Perdition"? It's not "mankind" it's none other than "Satan". There are a list of L. Ray's fallible and ridiculous questions to test if we are the "Man of Sin, "Son of Perdition, and "The Beast".
Have YOU ever seen yourself as the man of sin?
Fallible.
Do you believe that YOU were once the son of perdition?
Another stupid fallible question.
Have YOU ever been carnally-minded in your walk with God?
If L. Ray thinks we are carnal minded of being saved through baptism, church attendance, communion, evangelism? That is heresy.
Have YOU ever left your first love?
This fallible question he says is violating The Lord's NT Commandment: "Love your wives." God created Adam and Eve, not Adam alone. Man and Woman are one. L. Ray needs to get a wife, study the bible (KJV Only) with Strong's Dictionary, find a non-denominationl church and get baptized.
Have YOU ever put your hand to the plough and looked back?
Has the spiritual house YOU built upon the sand fallen yet?
Why does L. Ray think that all churches have been built on the spiritual sand? Non-Denominational Churches build their house on the Spiritual Rock. Denominational Churches build their houses on Spiritual Sand. Which of them will fall? It's the denominational churches, not both.
Have you fallen from grace since first believing?
Does believing in The Son is considered falling from grace? No.
If you insist that: "Ray! I don’t see myself as a spiritual BEAST, or a man of SIN, or the son of PERDITION [destruction]." Well, all I can to say is to parrot Paul: "YE ARE YET CARNAL."
L. Ray, himself, is carnally minded of condemning people telling that they are the Man of Sin/Beast/Son of Perdition and falsely misleading people to damnation instead preaching the Good News of Jesus to Salvation. L. Ray is denying the doctrine of Eschatology.
"BEASTS": We have seen from God’s word that God calls mankind "beasts"—Psalm 49:12 & 20; Titus 1:12-13; II Pet. 2:12; Psalm 73:22; Jude 10; & Ecc. 3:18). There is not just one prophetic beast OUT THERE, somewhere. We are ALL beasts—within!
If we are all "Beasts Within", then Jesus is "The Beast" and not the "Son of God". Furthermore, if Adam and Eve are "The Beast", God would've created the Lake of Fire in the beginning and throw them in there instead of casting them out of the garden into the Physical World. If L. Ray says so, we would not exist. God would've probably thought that He would just created something else instead of man on the sixth day or just leave the earth where it is and make it an animal planet. Either way, L. Ray is preaching the doctrine of God's hate.

Now L. Ray thinks that the Satan doesn't exist. Instead he's making God looking like he's evil, thinking the God can take on a form of a serpent to test their obedience. Did God test Jesus to turn the rock into Bread, giving Him all the riches, and make him jump off a building? No. That was Satan, not God.

souls can touch (Lev. 5:2)
Souls cannot touch earthly things if they leave the flesh. L. Ray has taken Leviticus 5:2 out of context. That verse was a OT Levitical Law that Jesus fulfilled.
souls have knowledge (Pr. 2:10)
First, when souls no longer animate the flesh, they will have no knowledge. The Souls of the wicked will mimic everything their flesh does in the Lake of Fire.
souls can love, and be joyful (Psa. 35:9; 86:4)
The Soul will sometimes no longer experience love and joy if the soul is wicked.
souls can hunger and thirst (Deut. 14:26)
A soul is a human spirit, it doesn't have a stomach. The Stomach is part of the flesh. L. ray teaches the doctrine Jehovah's Witness and Armstrong have been teaching.
souls can sin (Lev. 4:2)
If our souls would keep sinning, then we would all be eternally damned.
life can be given to a soul (Job 3:20)
Now this is just heresy and ridiculous. How can a soul be given an earthly life if it doesn't have or not sown to the flesh? The prophet Job is describing the verse symbolically of what the soul will do when its' sent into the Lake of Fire. It will mimic everything the flesh does for all eternity.
souls can die (Ezek. 18:20)
This is a doctrine of Annhilationism. Souls cannot die when they leave the flesh. The souls of the wicked will be tormented for all eternity (Matthew 25:46) in the Lake of Fire where they will have no rest day and night (Revelation 20:10), where the fire is unquenchable and the worm will not die (Mark 9:48). The Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man refers to the future of where the soul will go after the flesh dies. Lazarus died and his soul went to Heaven (Paradise), while the Rich Man died and his soul went to the Hell (Lake of Fire).
souls can be converted (Psa. 19:7)
Can you preach the gospel to the human soul spirit after they leave the flesh? The answer is no. When the flesh dies after they never hear the gospel and be baptized, it's too late for the soul, because they will be taken to Judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)
one can keep alive his (own) soul (Psa. 22:29)
How can the flesh keep his soul alive? That's heresy.
honey is sweet to the soul (Pr. 16:24)
Do souls eat honey? No. Because they don't have a stomach. Food is for the stomach which is to the flesh.
even God has a soul (Lev. 26:11, I Sam. 2:35, Jer. 32:41)
God is a spirit, not a man.
souls can hear (Acts 3:22-23)
souls can experience pleasure (Heb. 10:3)
souls can be purified (I Pet. 1:22)
and souls can receive salvation (I Pet. 1:9).

Okay. This is getting ridiculous. L. Ray smith is not taking the bible symbolically, taking the verses out of context, denying Strong's Greek and Hebrew Translations and using a corrupted bible as a substitute to the authorized King James which is God's final authority. The KJV is God's instructions. The NIV bible that L. Ray Smith uses is full of errors containing the Alexandrian Manuscripts.
God warns us when we tamper with His Word, he will blot us out of the Book of Life (Revelation 22:18-19) and cast us into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 21:8).
L. Ray, the way he teaches is not only a false prophet, but as he says about fraudulent shepherds leading millions astray, I think he's one of them. He's a false shepherd.
Please stay away from his website. His teachings about the denial of Hell, the Trinity, Baptism, and Communion, telling us that we are the Man of Sin and beast of Revelation is of Antichrist and causing us to feel more depressed than encouraged. His teachings is a doctrine of demons. He's a bad fruit and a wolf in sheep's clothing. His preaching that we can be saved by good health and safety is damnable. Health and Safety is a work of man, not God. His teachings is not sound doctrine.
He is not of God, but a false God. He is doing Satan's work by using corrupted bibles and causing us to lose our faith in Christ. Don't listen and trust his teachings.
Trust Christ and His Word, not man. The King James is God's final and only authority, not the NIV bible.
