Jane got up and started the washing about 5:30. I got up a little later and went to work. I came home about nine and kept the house while Jane went with her daddy & mother to David Kenn___s funeral. I wrote Harold among other things.

After dinner, which I prepared, I went back to work. We were pretty busy.

After supper, Stanley & I went to Lancaster and turned out to be the only men at County Chorus practice in a cold church. We had a good short rehearsal and then came home.c
