HB Journal for May 7, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

I went off to work without Jane again this morning. Eunice was to come and help clean the upstairs.

Harold & I made out quite all right by ourselves. We had a nice warm dinner that really did the trick.

In the evening Everett brought the little garden tractor up & we had a lot of fun. (Gid broke his leg.)

Val came for supper & helped with the garden.

We had a pretty fair C.E. Board meeting at Romaine's. Jane stayed with company. We also ate & sang. Came home late.
