Both of us were too, too sleepy, tired and lazy (mostly) to get up when we should have and as a result we had to hurry and then were late for Groffie.

At the mill things were very usual. In the afternoon, John "didn't come back to work." We were not rushed and so it was very nice (naturally).

After supper Mim K. & Roberta dropped in on us.

Milly & Charlotte came to a committee meeting to plan an East Branch picnic & splash party.

Jane "looked it up" and discovered that this is my third anniversary of milling.
