Hermie kissed the Bride.

Herm got to work on time this morning, for once. They were real busy at the office. Earl Hohman washed the car for us. After a short and snappy dinner we rushed around to get ready for the big event (Betty's wedding). Grandma Brackbill kept Evelyn Jane. It was a very pretty wedding. Herm was usher and I was matron of honor. The church was full. A grand reception followed after which we took the bride and groom away amid showers of rice. We ran around a while and then took them out to Seiple's. We got home in good time but were tired and sleepy.
