I got up in time this morning to prepare breakfast for my little guest. It had gotten much cooler and we could have slept much longer.

After breakfast, Web went home & I went off to work. This office work is getting to be quite the thing with me.

Mother Y & Dot went along to visit Jane today. She is just fine & dandy & so is little Evelyn Brackbill. Short stopped in for Dot after we got home and they stayed & visited a little.

Commentary

It took seven days for Evelyn to get her name. Also note that Jane is still in the hospital seven days after the birth; this would be unthinkable today but apparently was not a big deal.
