HB Journal for Apr 8, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
This morning it was raining - not much of a wash day.
Jane & I both went down to the office to work. A rainy day in the summertime seems to increase business tremendously. They were planning to ship a new pickup baler to Texas and one to Mexico.
The home fire had gone out and I had to make it again in order to have it comfortably warm.
After supper Jane went to Guild meeting and I went to C.E. Staff meeting at Lancaster. I got home first.
