HB Journal for Apr 17, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

Jane had a day off today. I walked to work and tried to get along without her.

There was a quilting over home. The Brackbill sisters were there and Jane went to sort of referee or to keep them company.

We had a pretty busy day since it is still too wet to farm.

After supper there was a moving picture show at the fire hall on the M.M. tractors. Jane went there. I took Mother Y. and we went to a S.S. committee meeting at Church. There was a small crowd.
