Daisie	She's so close to disappearing already, and then to see /that/ and to treated as if she were in NO WAY important in regards to the whole John and Jon thing...
Ray	...Who said she wasn't important?
Daisie	She feels that she wasn't treated as if she's important.
Ray	Why?
Daisie	She thinks they should have told her personally before announcing it to the entire Nexus.

"She thinks." I'm not sure why she's bothering to put up the facade of IC/OOC separation.

Daisie	It's like reading the announcement in the paper that your best friend is getting married without being told.
Daisie	Important people are told, personally, before something is public knowledge.

Uh, yeah, okay, whatever, Ms. Freaking the Fuck Out Over Extremely Small Matters. In the next response, Ray is going to set up the following logic -- since it was a question, there is in fact nothing to tell other people, or announce. This line of reasoning will completely fly over Daisie's head.

Ray	*shrugs* It was just a question. Nothing's set in stone yet. DNA tests have been known to be wrong.
Daisie	*sigh* She isn't upset about the test or the results. She's upset about how she was treated, and that isn't going to change.
Ray	I'm curious as to how a completely improbable and generally impossible question could result in this.
Daisie	It wasn't a hypothetical question. It was stated as fact that this thing had been discovered. Are we agreed on this?
Ray	Yes. But just because it was stated as fact dosn't mean it's not improbable and generally impossible.
Daisie	That isn't what upset her!

Woah, there. Way to hold up your end of the rational discussion. Also, please to make a small attempt to follow Ray's logic rather than assuming her lack of immediate capitulation is a refusal to listen. We'd do the same for you if you USED logic.

Daisie	If your parents were going to get a divorce, you'd rather /they/ told you, rather than learning about it by hearing them discussing it at a party with someone else, right?
Ray	That's really not the point. It doesn't change anything. Tess and I discussed it, and we thought it'd be a fun and confusing thing to do. You'll notice that both God and Sheppard are equally as confused about the whole thing.
Daisie	It's in fact ENTIRELY the point, because it's why Daisie's upset.
Daisie	Do you CARE that Daisie's upset?

Is this a trick question? Because I'm sorry, but what the hell kind of question is that to ask a fellow RPer? But she isn't actually asking -- she's accusing. This is one of the many moments where I pause and boggle in complete incomprehension that anybody could get past the age of six with an attitude like that.

Ray	Yes. But what I do with my characters can't be totally dependant on her feelings alone. They have lives of their own as well.
Daisie	I understand that.
Daisie	I never said they should be!
Daisie	I was trying to explain how Daisie felt.
Daisie	I never ONCE said you shouldn't do whatever you damn well feel like with your characters.
Ray	And I now understand how Daisie feels now.

Bitch, please. Take a look at your own tone: the capital letters, the insistent questions, the big ol' smoking gun that is the accusing "Do you CARE that my fictional self-insertion character is upset?" That question right there really means: if you were my friend, you wouldn't have done that thing. To expand, if you were my friend, you would stop assuming I use any sort of earth logic whatsoever, and treat my character as if it were me.

Also, note Ray's diplomatic answer of "yes." Now there's a trooper.

Daisie	Since it seems you and Tess have already written off things with Daisie (which sucks because she didn't do anything wrong but whatever), I'm going to be removing your characters from her f-list.
Ray	...When'd we do that?
Daisie	The post where Jon and John were talking.
Daisie	If Daisie's a bitch for wanting an apology and removing someone from her home, well, I don't understand it but I won't argue.
Daisie	I don't want to fight anymore so...
Daisie	whatever
Ray	Hm. Okay. If that's the way you feel, it's fine with me. You might want to talk to Tess though
Daisie	Well, Tess's not here unfortunately and I'm really tired of being treated this way and I don't want to drag it out any longer.
Ray	It's nothing against you, you realize?
Daisie	No, I think it /is/ against me. I think you and Tess have been leaving me out of all discussion of storylines that affect my characters.

At this point, if they weren't, I'd suggest some sort of intervention.

Also, Daisie has a tendency to be extremely controling of her RP partners and their characters, if you've read any of the BRPS posts. What she deems "storylines that affect my characters" is likely quite subjective and self-centered.

Daisie	Maybe it's an accident, but it's still something being done to /me/.

BITCH, DO NOT EVEN. Ray is among the genuinely sweetest people on earth. I would like to note that actually, no, I don't think I'm biased about this. Before I got to know Ray, I noted she was very diplomatic and good with people. I didn't really admire those qualities initially; if anything, quite the opposite. This is because I am a cantankerous growly individual who used to spend weeks stalking around high school imagining shooting people, not because I was treated badly but because I just kind of hated them. :D But, of my few good qualities, I am aware of my faults, and I try to always take into account the fact that I'm retarded and often very wrong. So in all actuality, yes, I believe that Ray is one of the nicest, funniest people you could hope to RP with, and Daisie is SUCH a fuckass. Jesus.

Look, Ray even apologized at the end. Apologized for what? That Daisie is a gigantic twat? I would've been hissing furiously into my keyboard and wearing the letters off my keys telling Daisie what a worthless cuntrag she is, and not to even pretend to have the gall to cry about this bullshit to her Galahad fiance, and that I didn't give a fuck if she was sick, my sympathy doesn't come that easy, etc. etc.
