Hero is a webcomic created by Drew Bradley. It is published by the Bad Mutha Booboisie and is included in the Oh No Robot archive.

Zach Cato and Jon Clucas have contributed to the comic.

Bad Mutha Booboisie Books published a black and white paperback of the first story arc, entitled, Drew Bradley's Hero: Volume 1.1: The Beginning. This book is for sale at CafePress.

Bad Mutha Booboisie Books is soon to publish a full-color paperback of Hero Volume 1, which includes story arcs 1 - 3, viz. Episodes 1 - 29.

Timeline

Hero is divided into volumes, story arcs, and episodes.

Volume 1

The original stories are included Volume 1, which spans story arcs 1 - 3, viz. Episodes 1 - 29. These episodes were all written and illustrated by Drew Bradley with the exception of three guest comics.

Important Events (Chronological)

Mayor was Villain's teacher and encouraged his path to the dark side (Episode 15). Villain recruited Mayor to be the consierglie of his gang (Episode 15). Hero is born (Episode 8). Mayor shoots Hero's parents (Episode 8, 15). Mayor turns on Villain. He loses his middle finger, and Villian loses his hand (Episode 15). Villain swears revenge on Mayor for the lose of his criminal empire (Episode 15). Hero lives with Jonathan Weistein until he is abducted by aliens (Episode 8). Sage is created by the aliens with a knowledge ray (episode 25). Hero receives a phone call telling him his parents' murderer is in the midwest (Episode 8). Hero gets a wandering orphan license and goes to track down the murderer (Episode 8). Hero saves Heroine from Villain twice (Episode 1). Hero is hired by Mayor to protect Heroine (Episode 1). Villain vows revenge on Hero for twarting his revenge (Episode 1). Villain and Henchman kidnap Heroine (Episode 2). Hero and Mayor track Villain and Henchman to their warehouse (Episode 2). Henchman is mutated by the pink poison into Super Henchman (Episode 3). Hero defeats Super Henchman, and believes he is dead. (Episode 4). Villain plans to give himself super powers like Henchman (Episode 4). To stall for time while he makes more poison, Villain releases killer bees to distract Hero (Episode 5). Villain tells Hero that Mayor killed his parents, and cut off Villain's hand (Episode 6). Hero and Villain are both exposed to the poison. (Episode 7) Hero defeats Villain and leaves town (Episode 7). Hero meets Sage, who tells him City is in Danger (Episode 9). Hero returns to City(Episode 9). Villain and newly mutated Jabba the Henchman have conquered City and enslaved Heroine (Episode 10). Villain reveals his super powers and knocks Hero out of City (Episode 10). Hero discovers his superpowers and returns to City (Episode 11). Hero defeats Jabba the Henchman (Episode 11). Hero is attacked by Villain's Tai Hookers (Episode 12). Hero kills two of the hookers. (Episode 12) Malformed Margaret is banished to the dark dimension (Episode 12).Villain tries to kill Hero by sending him to the dark dimension (Episode 13). Villain is grounded by his father, Peaty Pirate (Episode 14). Heroine learns about Mayor's past and leaves City (Episode 15). Henchman mutates further into Henchmalien. (Episode 16). Mayor defeats Henchmalien, redeeming himself for his past misdeeds (Episode 16). Heroine meets Sage, who tells her Hero is coming back (Episode 17). Hero wakes up in the dark dimension where he trains with Malformed Margaret. (Episode 18). Hero returns to the positve universe (Episode 20). Julie Sue confesses her love for Hero, who jilts her (Episode 20). Jonathan Weistein is returned by the aliens (Episode 21). Nemesis Hero is created by an energy rift, and is defeated by Hero (Episode 20,21). Aliens attack City (Episode 23). Jonathan is abducted again (Episode 23). Villian escapes his grounding (Episode 23). Nemesis Hero and Julie Sue meet (Episode 23). Hero rescues Jonathan from the aliens, and transports Mongrime to the dark dimension (Episode 24). King Alien wants to study Hero's abilities (Episode 24). Nemesis Hero offers to let the aliens study him (Episode 26). Malformed Margaret sends Mongrime back to the positive universe to help Hero (Episode 27). Hero recaptures Villain (Episode 28). Hero and Mongrime fly to the mothership to confront the king (Episode 29).

Volume 2

On Monday, June 15, 2009, the series was revived after a 3 year hiatus with Episode 30: What Happened? and is currently updating on Mondays. For Volume 2, Drew Bradley is still writing the stories and providing some of the artwork, but Jon Clucas is acting as the primary illustrator.
