Reflecting in your eyes…

What color do I see?

If you yearn for red, let me give you the light of the day.

If your sadness overflows,

Close your eyes.

As your spilling tears drop,

Let my heart catch your sorrows.

I remember times past with a deep nostalgia.

When I dream, happy memories flash across my mind:

Kind words and caring actions,

Warm Caresses and gentle kisses.

Reflecting in your eyes…

What color do I see?

If you yearn for blue, let me give you the infinite skies.

If only happiness and laughter could fill our every moment,

And all pain and strife be banished,

And our grievances be hidden by our smiles,

Then our world would be perfect.

Before we know it,

We may be gone, blown away like leaves in the wind.

We will only be there in each other’s memories.

Let us love each other while we can.

If you want a friend, I will be there.

If you need a rock to lean on, I will be there.

If you yearn for the oceans, I will give you the oceans.
