[edit] Before
A sad and lonely girl who was completely anti-social. She had no friends, and would barely talk to her family. She was born and raised with her middle class family in a fair sized house in Toyko. Amaya started out in the normal class. The children generally teased her because she never would talk to anyone. After a few tests and exams, Amaya was placed a grade ahead because of her amazing learning ability. She is able to watch things a few times, and figure out how to do them by heart times after. It was an ability that set her apart from other and made her feel special.
Years and years later, Amaya was taking a slow stroll through the campus gardens and towards her school. She happened upon a small pond and flower patch, and was instantly drawn to it from it's simple beauty. She had no knowledge that she was about to change her life though, because the moment she ran her fingers across the pond water, a Mew Aqua that had been residing in the pond entered her body. She became an Angelique that day, and hasn't been the same since.

Amaya's protectve barrier has started to crack now that she's an Angelique. She has openeed up to people such as Okashi and Coconut, though it is not recognized as that. She attended the Thankgiving event where she was asked to go on a search for Mew Aqua. Though she didn't retrieve Mew Aqua in that event, she is also attending the Holiday Cruise.

Amaya is a general quiet and shy girl who doensn't have much of a social ability. She has a sad aura, but has a warm heart and wants the most to make friends. She doesn't like being lonely, which she usually is.

Her one and only Mew Aqua gives her the power of water.
[edit] Water Power
Amaya came to use the power of water mainly because of her love of the ocean. It amde a big impact on the Mew Aqua she took in, she she was given the power to control water. Since she has one Mew Aqua, she can't make tsunamis. To save her own energy, she usually just makes medium sized waves or small showers of water.

Amaya tries not to wear herself out by limiting her water usage in battle:
- Waves: One of her most frequently used water abilities. It is a medium sized wave, large enough to sweep someone off their feet.
However, it can be dodged easily.
- Showers: A small shower of water. Used less then her Waves, but is helpful anyway,
- Summoning: Summoning water is another of her abilities. She can attack straightforward like that, instead of the water taking a certain form.

Not much is known about her family.

- Ito Okashi: One of her first "magical" friends she'd met. Okashi found her at the Thankgiving Festival.
Since then, Amaya has watched Okashi and learned from her that you can be yourself and still please others. Whe she's around Okashi, Amaya acts otherwise un-interested though. She doesn't want to admit that she considers Okashi a dear friend.
- Kumiko Coconut: Amaya came out of her shell and approached this lonely mew at the Holiday Cruise.
While talking to her, Amaya realized that she can be a social person. She tried to deny it, but she hopes that Coconut can become a better friend to her.
