[edit] Physical Description
Blu is usually in her human form throughout Waltz, though for most combat she will return to her natural Aliroo form. Blu's Aliroo form is compact, muscled, and slender, almost like a cat with electric blue fur. In humanform, this results in blue hair, and of course she retains her disarming, piercing blue eyes. In humanform, her skin is very pale, almost white, and she dresses in stark black military gear. She is just over average height, probably about 5'6" or 5'7", and slim but muscled, weighing around 130 lb. She is never seen without her reflective black sunglasses. She has a tattoo across her left shoulder, many scars, and three black ridges that curl around her right shoulder, remains of a violent encounter with an aggressive alien.
[edit] History (Previous to Otherwar III)
Blu's parents were both war veterans from the most desperate war of early modern Aliroo history. Thus, Blu came from a high-powered military background and was sent to a specialized combat school as a child. She joined the Aliroo starforce stealth and ambush force, Phaedra, when she was old enough and proceeded to cruise through the ranks. By the time she had her own small elite squadron, lovingly called Espresso, she was still much younger than any of the other commanders. Blu continued to fly for Phaedra in several wars that the Aliroo Interdimensional Alliance took part in, including being something of an instigator for one of them.
Espresso was semi-retired when Blu was offered a position within the Alliance's recon and intelligence department. Most of Blu's former wingmates went on to command their own squadrons, and are considered to be some of the most elite and dangerous pilots in the force. Blu continues her career in interdimensional conduct with the Alliance to this day.

Blu's non-physical/combat academics have all been self-taught. She is very smart, but not traditionally so. She has learned everything she knows about travel, politics, diplomacy, history, mathematics, and culture from first-hand experience. Thus, she can fix the warp drive of just about any ship from any world, but she probably couldn't tell you how she did it.

Blu's most striking personality feature is her overwhelming independent extroversion. Blu does whatever she wants, and she does it well. She rarely takes other people's opinions into consideration when making up her mind. She works best on her own, but is an excellent commander when put in the position. Blu is usually friendly on first encounter, but will quickly become violent and aggressive if there is something about you that she doesn't like. Blu is stubborn, opinionated, and arrogant, so she is both fiercely loyal to those she loves, as well as frighteningly vengeful.
Ironically, Blu's second strongest personality feature is her eager helpfulness. Blu considers herself a servant to the sentient; a soldier of the people. She strongly believes in "good," mostly because she is constantly afraid that she has crossed the line between good and evil. Blu believes strongly in the good in people's hearts, especially her own. Her first reaction to a crisis is always to selflessly commit herself, no matter the stakes.
[edit] Strengths
Blu's incredible circle of influence is probably one of her foremost strengths. If you need to get something done, ask Blu and she will know just the right person, and they will probably owe her. Blu knows what's going on in most places most of the time.
Blu's personal strengths lie in her dedication to good, her sense of willpower, and, of course, her actual combat abilities. Blu is a powerful ally and a devastating enemy.
[edit] Weaknesses
Blu's major weakness is her own doubt about where she lies on the line of good and evil. She has often done things that are not conventionally "right," and because of the ridicule and scolding she has received for it, she often wonders whether or not she is truly doing the right thing. She can also be very narrow-minded in her own agenda, which she is aware of but unable (or unwilling) to remedy. In a combat scenario, Blu has a severe weakness to psychic and magic-based attacks.
[edit] Problem Solving
When faced with a crisis, as stated above, Blu's first reaction is to dive in and help. Blu solves problems first hand, going in kicking and knives bared. She will try to take charge immediately, and if that is impossible, she will go off on her own and do it her own way, alone. Blu rarely has more than a vague, theoretical plan; she tends to take things on the fly. Despite the frustration this often generates for those working with her, it is unfortunately effective 99% of the time.

Blu gets along with just about anyone, as long as she feels like it. She can also change her mind about what she thinks about someone in an instant, resulting in paranoid enemies wondering why she suddenly protects them. In a normal social situation, Blu won't mingle, but won't remain aloof, either. Blu is friendly and outgoing, and very physically affectionate (she likes to give bear-hugs and smack her friends around). Blu is also surprisingly good in formal diplomatic settings, where she acts uncharacteristically professional.

Deionæra Blu and Deionæra go way back from before the Otherwar; they fought in many varying battles together. Blu is loving and friendly towards Deionæra. There are very few people who Blu will be "girly" around, and Deionæra is probably one of them. That's assuming Blu even has a "girly" side. Together, the two make a nearly unstoppable duo.
Lance Blu and Lance were romantically involved for a substantial amount of time. They met while Blu was living in a foreign star system, Lance being undercover on the trail of an illegal TDT dealer. After a few dramatic instances, they were actually quite inseperable. Blu's decisions in another world ended in them breaking up, which was initiated by Blu. Ever since the breakup, the two have been formally civil with one another, though they have never become as close as they used to be.
Trixxy Trixxy is Blu's best friend since primary school days. Trixxy is actually much closer to being Blu's "better half" than any of Blu's boyfriends have ever been.
Julian Blu liked Juilan from the beginning, resulting in her complete support and immediate help. She both respects him and is protective of him, understanding his situation and also his fragile nature. Blu will always be a loyal friend to Julian, especially after seeing how he handled things in the third Otherwar. Little does he realize it, but he has made a friend for life.
[edit] Humor
Blu is very funny, but this is usually not apparent in her discourse. Blu's inner monologue and behavior is more of what is funny about her, since she is known to talk to herself and inanimate objects. Her thought process is borderline attention deficit, but she somehow manages to stay on track despite her internal rambling.
Better put: It is Blu's view towards life that results in her sense of humor, not her commentary upon it.
[edit] Combat
Of all the Waltzers, including Mikkeil, Blu is probably the most dangerous when it comes to physical combat. After all, it's all she's been doing for her entire life. Blu is skilled in almost every known variety of weapon, specializing in blades and firearms, as well as extremely potent hand-to-hand abilities. Blu has taken on nearly every violent creature imaginable, and somehow come out alive. Her signature weapons are her throwing knives paired with her handgun, although she does have a custom made broadsword called Tennkliomere. Even unarmed, Blu has been able to single-handedly destroy a starcruiser.
[edit] Quirks
Blu is in love with her car. She probably loves her car more than anything else in the known universe. Blu also drinks an insane amount of coffee, earning her the nickname... "Coffee."
