Rocket

Rocket is the former captain and striker of The Snow Kids, he is the oldest team member and the fourth player to use The Breath which he was suspended for using illegally. He is the love intrest of Tia.

History

Rocket was born shortly after the start of the Akillian Ice Age, his father is Norata, the former Akillian football star. Rocket grew up learning to be a florist with his father, Norata attempts to keep Rocket away from anything that is involved in Galactik Football due to his own past experiences. Rocket became a good mechanic aswell and built his own snowmobile which he uses to make deliveries for his father. Rocket also made a cave into his own den where he secretly practices football, he also has posters of Aarch who is his role model and his uncle.

Rocket meets Aarch shortly after his return to Akillian and he secretly wished to join the team that Aarch is attempting to assemble however his father forbid him from going near the training centre. On one of his trips he saved Tia when she crashed her ship into Akillians snowy plains, she drags him to the football tryouts although he is quickly taken away by his father. Rocket managed to sneak into the centre in the middle of the night where he activated the holotrainer and began to secretly practice, however he didn't know that Clamp and Aarch watched his progress and were amazed at his passing skills. Aarch managed to convince Norata to let him play in the match against the Red Tigers and from there he became the captain of the team after he began to carefully analyse the strategies of other teams and create a game plan.

At Genesis stadium, it is revealed that he is the oldest as he celebrates his 16th birthday, it is also revealed that Tia has tracked down his mother who works in a flower shop at the stadium, this shocks him deeply and causes him to isolate himself from Tia. Eventually he apologises for his actions and the two make up and eventually fall in love. After the team win the Galactik Football Cup, he tells D'Jok to accept the cup for the entrire team.

Four Years Later, Rocket returns to Genesis Stadium with the rest of the team and reveals that he has been chosen to play in the All Stars match against the latest Technoid Footballers, soon after he goes with Tia to Genesis Forest, a forbidden section of the stadium that holds dangerous plants and creatures. Tia accidently falls from a platform and Rocket jumps to save her and slows the fall by using The Breath. Rocket is then suspended for using the breath outside of GF regulations and is about to leave Genesis to return to Akillian when Sinedd appears and introduces him to Netherball, a form of Galactik football where there are no rules and winner advances. Rocket instantly become Netherball's top player and remains champion and even though his suspension is lifted by the GF league, he does not appear to wish to return to The Snow Kids after watching that Mark (his replacement passer) can use the breath.

After the team discover his location, they begin to ask him to come back, he refuses until he faces Tia in Netherball, he finds the error of his ways and returns to the Snow Kids as midfielder, regaining some of the honour that he thought he had lost. He does not however have his position of captain restored. He currently is training to get his skills back up and prepares for the semi finals match against The Lightnings.

Personality

Before Aarch arrived on Akillian, Rocket was a loner and didn't usually hang around with the crowd, he usually spent his spare time in his cave, practicing. It wasn't until he met Tia that he became part of the group and then captain.

Rocket is mostly kind and appears like the father of the team, he supports all of the team members and treats them all with respect although he is not afraid to assert his position as captain when he needs to. After he begins to play Netherball, his attitude appears to change and he becomes ruthless, treating football like war and even hurting Sinedd during a Netherball Match.

Relationships

Rocket has strong friendly relationships with all of his team members, he treats them with respect and is there when they need him. His main relationship is with Tia who appears to now be his girlfriend until his suspension when he disappears to play Netherball, it also appears that his feelings for the team are still strong however he doesn't want to be seen by them.

After returning to the Snow Kids he has begun to re-establish his relationships with his team mates
