First Air is the flag carrier of the Northern Sushiian Arctic Settlement and Exclusion Zone (NSASEZ). The airline was founded in late November 2007, however the public founding did not take place until January 2008. Unlike Sushiian Airlines, which is funded by PublicTranspo, this Airline is fully owned and funded by the Northern Sushi airports administration, NS WorldAirports. First Air is currently based in Starluft, where it will fly regularly scheduled flights as Skyservice Airlines. The airline's main hub will become Novia International Airport, in MSS, NS Arctic Settlement and Exclusion Zone as soon as the airport opens in late February.

[edit] First Air
First Air will offer charter services to the NSASEZ from mainland Sushi and most services within the NSASEZ. Its fleet will be varied, consisting of aircraft owned by the airline and aircraft on long-term lease for the airline. The leased aircraft will be provided by the Sushiian Air Force. Because of this, many aircraft will be ex-military transports that are specifically designed to allow for landings in the remote arctic. Other services will be operated on small bush planes, older aircraft that SAL disposed of, or on occasion Skyservice aircraft not part of the First Air fleet.
Finally, unlike most airport operations, First Air is tasked with the operations of all airports in the NSASEZ. While First Air is a part of the NS WorldAirports group, it also retains its own administration, thus the airports will differ from an operations standpoint from all other airports in Northern Sushi and BEI.

The First Air dedicated fleet is made up of 74 aircraft of varying models. Most aircraft are secondhand aircraft and have sat in storage or used for government purposes. Out of the 74 aircraft, a total of ten are cargo and used to make large deliveries in the ASEZ. A further two, the 72-passenger C-130s serve as the ASEZ Flying Hospital, which is operated by First Air. While as many aircraft are airliner seating, some are still in military transport-style seating, such as the C-130s and An-72s. The 16-passenger An-148s are used as transports for high ranking government officials as well as charters to the northern tip of the mainland. The 48-passenger version shares the same function, but only in the front cabin. The rear is used for regular passenger service. All other service to the mainland are on the L-1011s, Skyservice aircraft, and on occasion the sole 767-400ER.

[edit] Skyservice Airlines
Skyservice Airlines, a wholly owned division of First Air, will operate all scheduled services to the mainland, as well as international services, some scheduled NSASEZ services, and some charter mainland services. In addition, First Air may use the Skyservice aircraft for any of their flights, however First Air aircraft will almost never operate a Skyservice flight.
