- Lena Karesh BBG #277 is the Columbia, SC BBG Chapter. Our mascot is the adorable Big Bird, and our chapter color is yellow. We LOVE spooey! =) We currently have about 20 members. Our beau is Sam Riber of Paul Schwartz AZA #254.

- Last year, Lena Karesh swept the awards at Southern Region Convention 2005 with Best Overall Chapter, First Place in Banner, First Place in T-shirt Design, and First Place in Oratory!
- At Spring Convention 2006, Lena Karesh received the Dixie Council Chapter of the Year Award!
- This past November, Lena Karesh once again showed their chapter spirit at Southern Region Convention 2006. They won Best Overall Chapter, First Place in Banner, First Place in T-shirt Design, and First Place in Oratory!
- At Spring Convention 2007, Lena Karesh received the Dixie Council Chapter of the Year Award! (2nd year in a row!)
