Olexti is known as the gateway sector to the Southern Federation Human core. The long narrow stretch of traversible energy fields caused many ships to be torn apart before the sector was charted. But thanks to the brave efforts of the pilots whose names have been promptly forgotten, Olexti has become the fastest shortcut between Sol and Andexa. Shortly after being mapped, a small starbase and refuelling outpost was built by a kindly old spacer seeking to help pilots stranded or in need of repairs after battling a small nearby space dragon den. That starbase was quickly destroyed and forgotten and a much bigger one, Nexus, was built in its place. Olexti is also home to two Space Crystals, providing quite a danger to navigation.
