Ericon

From The Pardusian Chronicles

[edit] Historical notes on Ericon

The twin jewel planets of Ericon I & II, separated by a small nebula, are like beacons that attract adventurers, tourists, and merchants from all over the cluster to visit.

The verdant planet of Ericon I, lush green and famous for its countless islands, like paint dotting the blue canvas that is the global ocean or Ericon I. A low altitude fly over the ocean and islands of this majestic planet is one of the most sought after, and most expensive, vacation packages in the whole cluster, but is truly an experience of a life time. Finally, on the biggest island stood Inorce, the Sector Capital that is the oldest city in the sector, and home to tens of thousands of hardy Ericonians and tourists alike.

The companion planet Ericon II is of a completely different temperament. If Ericon I can be described as an energetic young girl with a thirst for adventure and life, then Ericon II is the more secluded older sister, icy and seemingly unapproachable; but for those that take the time to get to know her better, they'll discover the surprising warmth and kindness she has to offer. And thus it was on this unassuming planet that many Ericonians found home amongst its many underground cities build inside huge caverns that were hollowed out from the mountains by lava flows in the ancient past. This is truly a unique planet of stark contrast.
