Formerly known as Elise Aversano because she was silly and didn't read the register boxes properly, Swoosh joined SOTF relatively late (member 39). She followed MismatchedEyes and Bloody_Fists, who had crossed over from another BR RP (which also had Theseus and guitarjack87 as members). SOTF was Swoosh's first roleplaying experience- that is, if you don't count a rather shoddy AU Harry Potter roleplay she did when she was 14.
Up until she got the wonders of AIM, Swoosh wasn't really very well known in the SOTF community, mainly because she felt too intimidated by some of the older members, therefore only really sticking to RPing with MismatchedEyes and Bloody_Fists, resulting in the eventual death of her first character Elise Aversano. However, once she realised that the other members weren't actually as scary as she thought, she became more involved in SOTF as a whole.
During the great Kaishi dissappearance of 2005, Swoosh was one of the first people to call attention to something being wrong. Along with Sephy and Riserugu, she frequently discussed a back-up plan should Kaishi fail to return. When Kaishi did return and ask for new moderator applications, she applied and has been a moderator ever since (although not a particularly good one!) As far as roleplaying abilities are concerned, Swoosh isn't really that great, but has definitely improved from her old 'one sentence per paragraph' days.
Swoosh was also involved in 'Viva La Revolution!', which saw Kaishi 'ban' herself and guitarjack87 for treason. A post war on the boards then began, with Swoosh creating a new account Sephy_Sucks to allow herself posting access, a name the crazy admin quickly switched to Sephy_Rules.
About halfway through SOTF, Swoosh found out that she had polycystic ovaries, and as a result had to take some hormone pills, making her jumpy and irrational. Unfortunately this made her even more irritable and snappy in terms of SOTF and frequently argued with MismatchedEyes. As a result she declared that she would take a break from SOTF to avoid pissing more people off, but in the end she cracked and decided to end her mini hiatus. Everyone at SOTF made her a 'Get Well Soon' card which she treasured like it was her first born.
Swoosh has been pretty open about who she is as well. Her real name is Katie (although she hates it with a passion), she's a 17 year old college student from South West England, although she's Welsh (and damn proud of it). She has one half brother and one sister she only found out about six months ago, and no pets as they have a tendancy to die. Her favourite films are Battle Royale, Cruel Intentions, Kill Bill and All About Lily Chou Chou. Her favourite Battle Royale character is boy #13, Yuichiro Takaguchi (MismatchedEyes claimed after this revelation that she had a 'nerd fetish') and she's the second biggest j-rock fangirl on the boards, Sephy being the first.
She also enjoys webdesign and graphic design, and as well as having her own domain (Killa Barbie) she owns a small design site where she sells layouts for money- Killa Barbie Designs
She is also the number #1 Hawley Faust fangirl, bordering on obsessive.
Kaishi makes her heart shine (Dw'in cari Kai <3), but she is married to riserugu, possibly unbeknownst to her husband.
