The Celestial Exodus refers to the Gods departing from Reydala following the death of Laviege, though Lucion was neither the first nor the last God to depart, the Celestial Exodus generally is thought to start at his departure. The devastation suffered by a society so dependent upon magic after Lucion's departure was on a scale unheard of prior to this point in history. It marked an end to the Era of the Gods and the beginning of the Era of Mortals.
