Proposer's summary and declarations

To debate and vote for a Judge. --TomFoolery 14:08, 29 November 2006 (EST)

Per 321 a vote must be held on the first, if we are going to do the nomination thing, it has to be done soon. 321 doesn't provide for a multi-day vote like we do for proposals, and until that is addressed we will have to follow the rule as written. Someone will need to nominate someone soon. I nominated The Juice for the special election, so I would ask that somebody else make a nomination for this regular election. --TomFoolery 14:35, 30 November 2006 (EST)

Just a note...when I attempted to submit a nomination, i had to do it editing the main "Nomination" Bar, and not the "Add Nominations" link. When i tried, it would spit me out into the Special Election page. --Tucana25 21:46, 30 November 2006 (EST)

Just for clarity: Voting is currently open for December's judge, and will remain open until midnight Friday. Dayd has been nominated; players may vote for him, nominate another candidate and vote for that person, or simply vote for the candidate of their choice. With respect to Dayd (and congratulations on your nomination), I find nothing in the rules requiring nominations or requiring players to vote for a nominated candidate. Thanks for the heads up about the links Tucana25, I have fixed them. TomFoolery 08:18, 1 December 2006 (EST)

When going into the "Recent Changes" link, it appeared as though a couple of people (Talk:Judge Election1206; 13:22 . . TomFoolery (Talk) (→Vote -), Talk:Judge Election1206; 16:20 . . Simulacrum (Talk) (→Vote - ) ) had made edits to this page. I could only assume they were casting their vote, but I did not see any new changes. Just wanted to make sure something didn't happen to those votes, seing as how we have a very limited time to make this decision. --Tucana25 16:28, 1 December 2006 (EST)

We weren't voting, simply cleaning up the links, layout, etc. of the page. --TomFoolery 16:37, 1 December 2006 (EST)

Good enough. --Tucana25 16:54, 1 December 2006 (EST)

There are no rules (yet) in place governing what time zone constitutes the first day of the month. Are we using EST? UTC (or whatever)? I can't find where I need to do this to make it official, i will continue to look, but....Can i request an official judgement from the current judge as to what time zone shall define 'the first day of the month'. thanx --Tucana25 18:39, 1 December 2006 (EST) I just edited this to insert a missing word...i have seen notes regarding that on the 'recent changes' page. How do i insert that when making an edit? --Tucana25 18:41, 1 December 2006 (EST)

An observation: the computer is lying about what time it really is in EST. The time for this comment should be 23:32ish --Tucana25 22:43, 1 December 2006 (EST)

Voting should now be closed. Congrats AJF. --Tucana25 23:17, 1 December 2006 (EST)
