-- Papers and workshops will demonstrate the conference theme of Working together to build Australia's Indonesian language potential.

-- Teachers of Indonesian at all levels are encouraged to consider presenting a workshop or paper on Indonesian teaching and learning experiences, projects, strategies and research.

-- Suggested topics include: collaborative language projects collaborative international projects (eg sister school arrangements, in-country study) collaborative learning activities in languages classrooms working together across sectors (primary, secondary, tertiary) working across the curriculum working with the Indonesian community the future of Indonesian language teaching in Australia

-- Papers will be allotted 45 minutes including 10 minutes for questions. Workshops (55 minutes including 10 minutes for questions) are intended to be interactive smaller group sessions Submissions should include: presentation type (paper or workshop) title of the presentation author’s affiliation and full contact details author’s biodata not exceeding 100 words abstract of the presentation not exceeding 300 words equipment required Expressions of interest due: Friday 28 November, 2008 Submissions due: Friday 6 February, 2009.
