Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone was born on Jan.5,1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her family moved to Banglore when she was only eleven months old. She was born to Ujjala and Prakash Padukone. From a model she became a starring actress in the bollywood industry. Dipeeka also has a younger sister named, Anisha. Padukone attended Sophia High School in Bangalore. She completed her ICSE studies from Mount Carmel College. While in high school she played badminton at the state level like her father and was a member of her father's badminton club. After pursuing a successful career in modeling, Padukone branched out a career into acting. She started by starring in the music video for the song Naam Hai Tera from the independent pop album Aap Kaa Surroor by Himesh Reshammiya. She later made a successful Bollywood debut in 2007 with Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh Khan. The film went on to become the biggest hit of the year, both in India and abroad. The film featured her portraying Shantipriya - a 1970s superstar, and later as Sandy - a contemporary teenager. Her performance was well received, earning the actress a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award as well as her first Filmfare Best Actress nomination. Padukone is currently working on Bachna Ae Haseenon along with Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu,and Minissha Lamba.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor was born on June 9, 1985. Kapoor is the daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor and niece of producer Boney Kapoor, actor Sanjay Kapoor and Sandeep Marwah. Her father is also a Bollywood actor. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. She has received training in classical and Latin dance forms. Before becoming an actress, Sonam worked as an assistant for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and assisted him during the making of his film, Black. She made her debut in Bhansali's Saawariya in 2007, which failed to do well at the box office. Her performance was praised by most critics. She has been nominated in 2008 for her performance in Saawariya, and for Sony Head N Shoulders Fresh Face of the Year award.
