You close your eyes and wait nervously for the target to leave the room. You feel your stomach tying itself up in knots as you wait for the danger to leave. Adrenaline surges through your body and you feel your veins being coated with the cool pricks of adrenaline.

Suddenly, the shower curtain whips open and you see Marcus standing before you, knife in hand. As you grab for your knife, he slices you across your throat. You feel overbearing pain fill your neck and you collapse to the ground. Blood gushes from your neck wound and you feel yourself getting rapidly weaker. Marcus leans down and rolls your head to the side. You grab for his hand, but your weak arms can’t push him off you. He pulls up his knife holding arm and buries his blade through your temple into your brain. Your whole body goes numb as you feel like you are falling off the edge of the world into blackness.

You have died. What a shame.
