You give an order. Your plain text message back is: "We will open the hatch in 15 seconds."
It takes you 10 seconds to reach the controls and another 5 to activate the hatch. Your crew assemble behind you, carrying nothing more threatening than a smile.
Five humanoid figures in space suits step inside the ship. The helmets are darkened and the full-body suits prevent you from determining whether the figures are human.
A computerized voice emanates from one of the figures. In clearly understandable language, the voice intones, "Please close your hatch." You activate the system to close the hatch, and as it shuts, the figure nods its head.
