You decide to wait for Alex. The dumbass really didn't deserve your loyalty but damn, you couldn't just leave him. Plus you didn't want to sit with rando's from the lecture. You leant back against the door, huffing at the thought of missing your dinner break when you started to hear the faint mutterings from behind the door. It didn't sound like they were trying to keep their voices down much.
"You sure your friend isn't going to wait around for you?"
"Nah, he'll have shot off to get some food, guy skipped breakfast so he must be starving.". I mean he wasn't wrong. "And anyway, would it matter if he was still out there?"
"Fair point. That means I can take all the time I need to remind you that you have a responsibility to this school. That means" A muffled thud "you have to respect those who enforce those rules. Now, what's stopping me from reporting your arse to the board, hmm?"
"You mean you want me to make it up to you, sir?"
Oh. Ohhh. You had had suspicions that Alex and Johnson had been … well together, but you really didn't need that confirming for you. Out of respct for Alex's privacy, you knew you should leave them to it. The more voyeuristic side of you didn't want to move. Alex had said it wouldn't matter after all...
