You sit up and give her your best smile. "I was having a rough day."

She sits next to you. "What happened?"

You shrug. "Severe hormone-induced mood swing. I just didn't feel like I could face the world, or even school. I headed for the pool, figuring exercise might help. I got some exercise" (technically true, it just wasn't swimming, you think to yourself) "and came here to rest a bit. I guess the sun put me to sleep."

Officer Simonton nods. "We all have those days as teens. Just don't let it become a habit."

"I won't," you promise.

"Good," she replies.

She starts to get up.

• Stand up as well and walk whatever direction she's heading
• Remain seated and ogle her ass as she walks away
