As much as you'd love to wear your other clothes, you brought them so you'd have something else to wear in the campsite. You pick up your pack, and head off up the trail.
After about a mile, you've seen no one. Your sweat is seeping through your shirt, your socks are soaked in your sweat, and you're pretty miserable.
The trailhead looked fairly deserted, too. The likelihood of you running into someone is slim. Maybe it's time to cool off and spice this hike up at the same time.
