“One card, please.” You’re worried that Claire has a big hand so you decide to go for the flush instead.
“Two for me,” Claire replies, dealing out the two cards.
You look at your card and are disappointed to see a low heart. “I guess you have me beat,” you say as you turn over your worthless hand.
“Fooled you!” Claire declares, showing a hand with only a pair of twos. “I bet you tossed something better,” she taunts.
“Now you can find out what it feels like,” Lin pipes up from where she's watching.
“Shoot,” you mutter to yourself. You pull your shirt off over your head and toss it on the floor next to you. “You won’t fool me again though,” you promise.
