“It sounds like you two are competitive,” you suggest.
“Yep!” Anne says quickly.
“Her more than me,” Sandy continues. “I think it’s the curse of being the younger one. She’s always trying to catch up.”
“That’s not true!” Anne accuses. “I know you’re just as competitive.”
“Really,” Sandy retorts. “What about last summer?”
“What about it?” you prompt.
“Last summer, I had sex with Justin,” Sandy begins. “Anne gets so upset that I lost my virginity before she did that she goes out and tries to sleep with as many boys as she could.” Anne starts to object, but Sandy continues, “And then when she found out I broke up with Justin, she goes and seduces him just to say that she’s fucked him too!”
“Really?” you ask Anne.
“Well…” Anne stammers. “When you put it like that…”
