Country Girl/A little clothing boutique

From Create Your Own Story

The door chimes as you walk in, and a little man in a nice suit approaches you.

"Welcome," he says as he walks over, but when he sees your clothes, he stops and just looks at you for a moment. You look away from him and notice the price on a dress near you--$10,000. Maybe you're in the wrong place.

"How can I help you?" He asks.

"Um. I. Uh. I don't know. I just moved to the city today, and I need some clothes, but I don't think I can afford these. I'm sorry to have bothered you, but maybe you could tell me where I could buy some regular city clothes."

The man seems to be studying you as you speak.

"Just moved here?" The man asks, mostly to himself, "where are you from? Why are you here in the city?"

"I'm from the country. I just had to leave, and I have always dreamed of living in a city."

"You seem like a nice girl, so I'm going to help you out," he says. "This is a high-end tailor shop and women's evening wear, club wear, and lingerie store. I don't think you could afford anything here, but I am looking for someone to help me in the store. I'll even give you some clothes to wear as kind of an advance."

You can't believe your good luck. "Wow! That's so nice of you. I'll be a great worker. You'll see. I'll do anything you need."

"I'm glad to help. I'll show you around and get you something to wear."

He shows you around the store. All the clothing is glamorous and very expensive. He shows you the evening wear which is mostly beautiful dresses. He shows you the club wear, which barely looks like clothing. He shows you the lingerie, which is underwear and sleepwear unlike anything you had ever imagined. Then he takes you unto the back of the store in what looks like his tailor shop.

"Let's see what we can find," he says as he searches through some clothes and fabric. "Try this," he says as he hands you a silk, white dress.

During your tour of the store, the man had shown you what he called a changing room. Should you go there to try on the dress or should you try it on right there in the tailor shop?
