AIF Stay

From Create Your Own Story

You didn't move when Stacy left. The shock of the situation was wearing off and you didn't think you could get away with much more than you already had.

It wasn't long before Aunt Stacy came back into the room and she ran over to you and hugged you again, turning you away from the intruder. "You were so brave, Scott. And you did the right thing. Nodding in affirmation, you set off towards the master bedroom where Alice was still unconscious, but there was a sheet covering her this time.

"Aunt Alice," you say as you gently shake her shoulder. "Aunt Alice," your repeat shaking her harder. "Aunt Alice!" You nearly shout and shake her hard.

Before you could react, Alice woke and took a full swing at your head, her fist connecting, causing you to fall to the floor.

"Oh my God! Scott! I'm so sorry! I didn't-- I thought--" Alice cried as she jumped to pick you back up.

In her haste to help you, Alice dropped the sheet and you got another full look at your aunt before she noticed and covered herself.

"Aunt Stacy is okay, she's calling the cops," you volunteer, though you're a little dizzy and your head hurts.

"And-- And--"

"He's taken care of; I hit him over the head and killed him."

Alice pulls you into a one armed hug. "I'm sorry, but thank you. You saved Stacy and myself. You should be proud."

You're given a kiss on the cheek and you leave so Alice can get dressed.
