0003-Make breakfast in the apartment

“No point in wasting good money on something we can do right here.” You say as you turn the water on in the sink. You start washing the pan and ask Jason to pull the food out of the fridge. He’s not happy, but he helps out. While you wash the pan, Jason gets the eggs and some vegetables out of the fridge. As he closes the door, the two of you hear pounding on the wall. The noise is coming from the neighbor’s apartment.
“Keep it down over there, you dick!” Jason shouts as he pounds back. "Come on man," you say to Jason. "I have to live here." The pounding on the wall is joined with a lot of banging around in the apartment next door. You try to ignore the noise as you begin making the breakfast. Ten to fifteen minutes pass, and the noise comes to a halt with the sound of glass shattering.
"It's about damn time..." Jason says. You dish out the food that you just finished preparing and give a plate to Jason as you sit down at the table. You both finish your food and get ready for the day. You still have a lot you want to get done today.
After a quick change of clothes, you head into the bathroom to freshen up. You brush your teeth, style your hair, and pop any would-be facial embarrassments. Jason gets ready nearly as quickly, and you guys head out the door.
As soon as you step into the hallway, you notice something is off. Your neighbor's door is open. "That's odd..." you say as you step closer to the doorway. He doesn't usually keep his door open, and upon further investigation, you realize the door has been forcefully opened.
Looking into the apartment, you see somebody laying still on the floor. There's blood on the walls and the carpet. You can see the shadow of a person slowly moving around inside the apartment. Listening closely you can hear footsteps and heavy breathing.
