Snicket is the co-moderator of Menacing Miscellaneous and is known for his rather iron grip over the board, that he held until recently. Snicket is a respected member of the forum [validity of this claim is disputed], but once had the lowest Karma level in 667 history. He is a man between the ages of 10 and 72.

The Beginning

Snicket joined 667 Dark Avenue in March 2004. Before that, he was an active poster under another name at another forum and was friends with Antenora. Snicket had joined several times under different names but never posted. He was also an original member of UE.net. His first post on 667 was an elaborate theory on the entire series that linked it to real life. It was praised by fellow member J as being one of the most intelligent and far-out theories out there. (Let it be noted that J is quite sure she was being sarcastic, and has no recollection of ever calling anything related to Snicket intelligent.) Snicket quickly joined forces with other members and created The 667 Awards. Votes were gathered on the best members and so on, but the awards never happened. It was going to be the largest event in 667's history. There was a large delay concerning the banners, causing many to wonder if the awards were ever going to happen. The day before the official date was to be released, the winners were leaked. Snicket was later thought to be an annoyance and he started a feud with Dupin that was later dropped.

Snicket was also a prominate poster in the original series of Random Fact Threads started by Antenora.

Recent Years

Snicket was the co-founder of The 667 Apprentice, a game show that began in 2004 with fellow member Sora, but only truly began running in 2006, with its first winner, Dupin, declared in May.

In 2006, Snicket started writing about Apple Computer and answering questions about up-coming Apple products. It has mystified many members on how correct he is. It is constantly rumored that Snicket works for Apple, however, Snicket has never publicly given an answer to these rumors. Because of the outpour of questions to him, he contacted Akbar of the 667er and was given a job of writing a weekly article for the 667er on technology related issues. Every week members would PM questions to Snicket and he would answer all of them in the article. To date, he has been right all but out of three counted times. The article went under several changes and later became known as "Snicket's Section". "Snicket's Section" was not all about tech, however, there was a large portion dedicated to the art of magic and teaching practices of a magician. Not much is known other than the fact that Snicket is also a magician and has been the technical director of several past stage illusion shows. As of now, Snicket is on a hiatus from his weekly article and has promised to return in 2007.

Snicket also is very active in music and writes jazz pieces. He can play the Trombone, Tuba, Trumpet, Keyboard, Electric Bass, Acoustic Bass, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, and a Drum Set. Other than this, nothing else is known about Snicket's background in music.

Snicket is also an active Democrat and openly supported John Kerry and John Edwards during the elections. He coined the term "Busheney" meaning "A person of evil nature".
