Ann

From 667darkavenue

Ann is one of 667's most senior members, joining in 2002 under the name 'VioletB'. For the first few years of 667's history Ann was an avid poster, and friends with fellow members Kate and Charlotte.

After 2004, Ann slowly drifted away from 667, and newer members learned nothing of her, and her reputation. After 667's fourth anniversary celebrations, Ann returned, with long absent member Kate as well, to the forum.

The Plastic Affair

When she arrived she was met with warm welcome from senior members, but by August of 2006, she began to be shunned by new members for being too talkative, and posting too much in Menacing Miscellaneous. Newer members of course had never learned of the threads that once ran through MM acquiring ninety posts a day, so were frightened of this sudden activity in threads. Even though most of this activity took place at 2 AM when no one else was online.

Ann had the unfortunate problem of taking her temper out on people, and several prominant 667 members, including Shruti and Dupin, got burnt by her harsh words. Both members striked back at Ann, labelling her a 'Plastic' (taken from the popular movie 'Mean Girls'), and tried to get her banned. Swans put a stop to this, but unforunately 667 lost members Dupin, Twistedbrain, and Edwin in the heat. Most people don't even like Edwin. All three members eventually returned some after being gone for only a day, but still held ill feelings towards Ann and Kate, and advocated their removal. There was no need for this though, as both Kate and Ann left 667 in late-October, and did not return. It's sad that Ann was labeled was a Plastic and will be remembered as so despite her sprakling personality.
