The teams after the Ostrich Hunters 6-0 victory
On October 21, 2006, the Ostrich Hunters played their first game, a home game against York. The Hunters were victorious at home coming away with a 6-0 victory, receiving goals from Bethany Stein, Katie Kanoff, Zak Kanoff, Landon Allebach, Elly Wentling, and Cameron Nyguist. Jesse Stein and Landon Allebach took care of the bulk of the goal-keeping duties.

On November 11, 2006, the Ostrich Hunters proved themselves to be as much of a threat on the road as they are at home, as they traveled to York and won 3-0. Goals came from Zak Kanoff, Joel Hoffman, and John Wenger in the Ostrich Hunter's least productive offensive game to date, which was still a convincing victory. Zak Kanoff, Jesse Stein, and John Wenger combined for the shutout.

On May 25, 2007, the Ostrich Hunters improved their all time record to 3-0 with a 6-1 victory over York. Newcomer Hunter Spivey started off the scoring quickly and York never recovered. Kegan Brumagen, who was also playing in his first homeschool soccer game, scored the lone goal for York, but it was too little too late. Zak Kanoff, Landon Allebach, Ethan Pellazar, Spencer Burkhardt, and Emilee Hauser all joined in the scoring for Chess, while Zak Kanoff played half of a shutout in goal.

On June 1, 2007, a game in York was called due to thunderstorms.
