In some nations, schemes like this have been attempted but have resulted in nothing but loss of freedoms and benefits in the workplace, with people being tossed off welfare to low paid jobs without any alternative. The LLP acknowledges the necessity to not create another big business endorsed ‘Welfare-to-Poverty” schemes and has created a plan that improves people’s opportunities rather than reduces.
